Animal Cell Model
← All Exhibits
Every animal, including you, is built from cells far too small to see. This model makes one big enough to study, with its main parts labeled.
The nucleus holds the cell’s instructions (DNA), the mitochondria release energy from food, and ribosomes build proteins. Animal cells have no cell wall and no chloroplasts: compare it with the plant cell model.
Find three parts that the animal cell and the plant cell share, and two they don’t.
