Electricity

The Fun Circuit

← All Exhibits

The lamp in this drawing really lights up, because it is part of a real circuit.

Electricity flows only around a closed loop: from the power source, through the light, and back again. Break the loop anywhere and the light goes out. A switch simply opens and closes that loop.

Unfold to see the path the electricity takes, from where it comes in to where it goes back out.
