Look into one window and see out of the other, even though they’re at different heights.
Inside are two mirrors, each tilted at 45 degrees. Light enters the top, reflects down off the first mirror, then off the second mirror into your eye. Submarines use periscopes to see above the water.
Look through the lower window. What can you see from up high?
