3D Pictures Without Glasses

These animals seem to leap out of their frames, with no special glasses needed.
The surface is covered in thin ridges, each a tiny lens. Each lens sends a slightly different picture to your left eye and your right eye, and your brain combines them into depth.
Walk slowly past each picture. Close one eye: does the 3D effect disappear?
