Turned upside down.
Two pictures in one
Gustave Verbeek’s upside-down comics
A giant bird grabs a girl. What happens if you turn the picture upside down?
A fish attacks a man in a canoe.
Why? From 1903 to 1905, Verbeek drew a newspaper comic you read to the end, then turned over and read back again. Every picture works both ways up.
