Faces everywhere
Flashed face distortion
Look at the cross in the middle while ordinary faces flash past on both sides. How do they look after a few seconds?
Strange, even monstrous.
Why? Your brain compares each face with the one before it, and exaggerates the differences: a wide face after a thin one looks very wide.
