Striped Animation
← All Exhibits Book a Visit
Slide the striped sheet across the picture, and the fish start to swim.
The picture underneath hides several drawings sliced into thin strips and woven together. The black stripes cover all but one set of strips at a time; as you move them, the drawings show one after another, like frames of a film.
Move the stripes slowly, then quickly. What happens to the movement? There are more animations under the fish.
