Smoke Rings
← All Exhibits
Fill the launcher with mist, give it a tap, and out comes a vortex ring you can see: a doughnut of air spinning around itself as it glides forward.
The spinning keeps the ring together. Dolphins blow bubble rings in water the same way, and volcanoes sometimes puff out giant smoke rings.
Launch one ring, then quickly a second. Can you make the second one catch the first?
