Bouncing Rings

Set the rings spinning and they seem to bounce up and down, even though each ring is simply rotating around the central axis. Because the rings are tilted, their changing position and perspective create an illusion of vertical motion. Our brain interprets the continuously changing shapes as a bouncing movement.
