Color Tile Mosaic
← All Exhibits
Step on these color tiles and watch the patterns change beneath your feet. Pressure pushes the coloured liquid inside the tile from one area to another, creating flowing shapes and patterns. Every step produces a slightly different design, turning simple movement into changing art.
At the Science Playground entrance, step on the tiles and create your own unique art.
Additional Information
Inside each tile is a thin layer of coloured liquid or gel sealed between transparent surfaces. When you step on it, pressure pushes the liquid away from your foot, creating new shapes and patterns. When you step away, the liquid slowly spreads back again.
